PPF is a clear urethane film applied to painted panels to help protect them from rock chips, road debris and wear. AutoSpa Weymouth installs LLumar film.

Partial Front typically takes 1-2 days. Full body usually takes 5 to 7 days for a sedan, depending on the vehicle.

LLumar gloss or matte. We confirm the options for your car during the quote.

It depends on how long you keep the car, how much highway driving you do and which panels chip first. Many new-car owners start with Partial Front or Full Front.

LLumar describes its gloss and matte films as self-healing: light surface marks can fade. We explain the care your film needs.

They protect against different things. A coating will not stop rock chips. For the most coverage, we recommend PPF on the high-impact areas (hood, bumper, fenders) and a ceramic coating over the whole car.

Wax is temporary and needs reapplication. A coating lasts longer but needs specific aftercare. We will help you decide which fits.

Yes, but with some guidelines. After PPF installation, wait 48-72 hours before washing to allow the film to fully cure. For ceramic coating, wait 7 days before the first wash. After that, hand washing with pH-neutral soap is recommended. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes as they can scratch the surface. Touchless car washes are acceptable. We provide detailed care instructions with every installation to help you maintain your investment.

PPF and ceramic coating serve different purposes. We will review the current LLumar and System X product documentation, coverage terms, and care recommendations before service.
